Robert Goodman gives opening Speech on Trade at the Arizona Asia-Pacific Commercial Breakfast Meeting

On March 3, 2005, organized by SATDA, a high-ranking breakfast meeting was held in the small banquet hall of Hong Kong Shangri-la Hotel. The meeting began at 8 o'clock in the morning. Dignitaries present include: Mr. Hal Falls, Director of Arizona Asia-Pacific Commercial Office; Mr. Joel Lakin, Director of Hong Kong/China Liaison Office; Mr. Steward J. Ballard, Counselor of American Embassy Business Bureau in Hong Kong; Mr. Sanle Mei, President of American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Mrs Karen R. Dickenson, Partner of American Law Firm.

At the meeting, Chairman of SATDA, Mr. Robert Goodman, presented a subject speech. Attendees of the meeting applauded the commission that SATDA has undertaken and discussed extensively a series of topics regarding Sino-US trade, including: information exchange between Chinese and American enterprises, difficulties that Chinese companies going to America experience, methods for American companies to enter into Chinese market, and how SATDA, as a well positioned exchange center, can help achieve the goals set for improving Sino-US trade.

The warm and friendly talks lasted over 2 hours until half past ten - achieving a great success in creating close ties among the participants - all for the benefit of SATDA members.
